Resources for Training Kids

Children’s Catechism based off the Westminster Shorter Catechism is a very good starting point pior to teaching them the Heidelberg Catechism. (I downloaded this copy from Sovereign Grace Church in Toronto, CA. I downloaded and uploaded it to our site to make sure it is available. I like how compact they made it.)

“Ecumenical Creeds and Confessions” is also a very helpful resource to have handy.

Hylkema and Tuuk “A First Book on Christian Doctrine” This is a pretty good book to simply teach your family or even for adults to know our Christian doctrine. The discussion questions at the end of each chapter are not always helpful. Check back as I am researching to confirm that this book is in the public domain. If it is then I want to revise some of the discussion questions and repost it to the web.
